The heat from the afternoon sun was blistering and was beginning to make his hair frizz, he began to walk faster. 'Awe come on. Please let me look good for more than five minutes.' Jacob begged as he squinted up to the blazing ball of light. He had followed the Glee Club around looking for a juicy story to post on his new website. 'At least let me get one shot of Rachel in her swimsuit while still attractive!' Jacob began a trot towards the rushing water in hopes of saving his neat afro from the undying heat muttering, 'Some things have no sympathy.'

Anything Else We should Know: I frickin' love Sweeny Todd and Mrs. Lovett! Whenever I watch the movie I sing the songs; and I HAVE seen the theatrical production.

OMG. At first I was so confused by the example - I was looking for how you would write Mrs. Lovett - but it’s good!

Example of writing: Lydia carefully spiked her short black fringe, her tongue poking out a little as she worked to get it just right. Eventually, satisfied with her efforts, she sat back, grabbing her wide brimmed black hat, placing it carefully on her head and standing up. She was going to go exploring with her camera, carefully shaded from the hateful sun, which was just beginning to set. Lydia checked how many photos were left on the film in her camera and went for the door when she heard the creaks of movement above her in the attic. What if....where the Maitlands still here? Surely they should have gone through to the afterlife...they died right? But as she heard more movement she made up her mind to go and find out for herself. Gripping her camera, she slid out of her room and up the attic steps. She was just reaching for the door handle when

"LYDIA! ITS TIME FOR DINNER!" The shrill voice of her step mother echoed through the house. Lydia sighed and moved away, putting her camera back in her room and pulling the lace that was attatched to her hat down over her face. She hated meals with Delia.

Example Writing Excerpt:
Jack was walking through the forest in Halloween town, deep in thought. Another year, another Halloween. Years ago, he had taken over Christmas, and that didn't end so well, and he knew that taking over another holiday was out of the question. However, he still wanted to make Halloween more than it was; give it some pizzazz, some unf; the only problem was, he didn't know how.
Each year was the same; the parade, the singing, him lighting himself on fire as the Pumpkin King and then diving into the fountain; it gets old. Sitting down on a rock, looking at Zero, then back up at the trees, he continued to get lost in his thoughts, the lack of ideas causing him to drift off to sleep.

Anything Else We should Know: I worship the ground Timothy Burton walks on?
